Cabier Beach is a pristine quarter of a mile long curving strand of firm white sand with nothing behind it except palm trees and the odd cow, usually with a couple of egrets in attendance.





The offshore reef protects both bays, making Cabier great for safe swimming in the clear warm water and for snorkelling around the promontory into Crochu bay.













Oh – we forgot to mention that the local Rasta fisherman 'Jaguar' occasionally drops in with some lobsters or fish for dinner - as do the pelicans for take-away.





Other than at weekends, when some locals come to the beach, Cabier guests will normally have it to themselves - a bit like your own private beach.
