Booking periods

You can stay at The Farmhouse at Delettes and enjoy its extensive facilities throughout the year. The Farmhouse can sleep up to 9 people in 4 bedrooms plus up to another 4 people using two temporary beds and the double sofa bed or futon in the games room, making it a great place for large family holidays and celebrations.

The minimum period of stay is two nights, so weekends or parts of a week can be taken. Weekends during July and August are only available if there are letting gaps. Please ask as there can be gaps, especially in early July.

Bookings are usually from Wednesday to Wednesday but we are flexible on this depending on other bookings. Please time your travel arrangements so you arrive after 3.30 pm and leave by 10 am on your day of departure to allow for cleaning between lets (this can be varied by prior arrangement if there is no-one staying before or after you at The Farmhouse).

Your stay at The Farmhouse includes house linen for up to 10 people (but not swimming towels), unlike many holiday rental properties there are no extra charges for electricity and heating. Our prices are all inclusive.

Notes on prices

Lets over Whitsun bank holiday are at June rate and over August Bank holiday at August rate. Lets spanning Christmas/New Year are charged at the December rate. Lets commencing in August or ending in July do not attract any special offer discount.
There is no charge for children under one year old or using a cot. For lets of 10 days and over we make a charge of £20 to cover the cost of cleaning the house during your stay. This is payable to us with the final balance of the holiday cost.

Price Examples

Prices are per night for a minimum of 4 persons staying e.g. 6 people staying 3 nights in September would cost (£30 x 4 people x 3 nights) = £360 plus (£20 x 2 people x 3 nights) = £120, total £480 less 15% = £408 (£22.67 per person per night). For 8 people staying 2 nights in May it would cost (£32.50 x 4 people x 2 nights) = £260 plus (£20 x 4 people x 2 nights) = £160, total £420 less 15% = £357 (£22.31 per person per night).

Booking deposits

We will send you an invoice to confirm your booking. We ask for a deposit of one third of the holiday cost, the balance to be paid three months prior to departure. A reminder invoice will be sent. We will send you the booking terms and conditions with the first invoice. The contract for your holiday is made when you have paid the deposit.

Damage deposit

A damage deposit of £25 per head is taken on a separate cheque which is not cashed unless there is damage or additional cleaning to be paid for at the end of the holiday. If there is none the cheque will either be torn up or returned to you as you prefer. It is a condition of booking that any damage be reported immediately to our housekeeper, Anne-Marie Bruge, who lives in the village, and that you will pay the cost of repairing any damage or replacing any broken items.

Payment

All bookings are made on the condition the full amount of the cost of your holiday is due and payable 3 months before the first date of occupation of the house. There will be no refund if you have to cancel within three months of your stay and we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover you for this and other accident or loss.

Keys etc

Keys, directions and house details will be sent a minimum of 2 weeks before your stay.
