All prices include bed linen, bath towels (but excluding beach towels) and cleaning. Our local English speaking agent, Carine, lives in the town and provides a “meet and greet” service at the house when you arrive and will meet up with you at the end of your stay. She will also deal with any queries during your stay in Puerto de Mogan. She can arrange a taxi to meet you at the airport and a welcome pack of food and essentials to be waiting you in the house or apartment if you are arriving very late.

Although the minimum period of stay is usually one week, please ask if you want to stay for a shorter or longer period. There are plenty of flight combinations which allow for different lengths of stay. We will always be as flexible as possible to meet your requirements. The house and apartments are available all year round.

To allow for cleaning between changeovers please do not arrive before 3.30pm on the day of arrival and on day of departure leave the properties by 10.30 am. If there is no one staying immediately before or after you, then by prior arrangement, you will be able to arrive earlier or leave later to suit your flight times.

The Captain's House and Roof Terrace

Prices are based upon two people sharing the double bedded room. There is an additional charge per night for each person, up to two persons, using the double sofa-bed in the sitting room. Prices are inclusive of linen (excluding beach towels) and utility costs. The only extra is a charge for optional use of the air conditioning/heating units - see   below  .

The Captain's Apartment

Prices are based upon two people sharing the twin bedded room. Prices include linen (apart from beach towels) and utility costs. There are no extras. There is a washing machine in the utility room just off the terrace.

The Captain's Studio

This is used as additional accommodation for people taking the Captain's apartment as it shares the same terrace. It will take up to two persons sharing a double bed.

Taxi from the airport

Our local agent, Carine, can organise your taxi pick up at the airport in advance using one of her three drivers who will also contact her when near the village so that she can meet you.

The cost is around 50 euros per car (which is cheaper than taking a taxi from the rank at the airport or in Puerto de Mogan) and which you pay to the driver. A car will take up to 4 people and a reasonable amount of luggage. Please tick the box on the booking form if you wish to take this service.

Welcome Basket

Carine can organise a welcome basket to be left for you if arriving late in the evening. This costs 30 Euros and is payable to Carine on arrival. The Welcome basket has in it:
Bread :: Milk :: Butter :: Cheese :: Sugar :: Fruit juice :: Coffee :: Tea :: Water :: Eggs :: Ham :: Marmalade :: Cookies :: 2 Cans of beer :: Bottle of wine.

Cleaning

The house and apartment/studio are cleaned each week of your stay. An additional clean can be arranged for 20 euros or a daily clean for 75 euros per week. These amounts are payable locally.

Air conditioning / heating in The Captain's House

This is rarely needed but if you do want it then there is an additional flat rate charge of 50 euros per week. This is payable to Carine who will give you the controllers for the combined air conditioning/heating units.

Booking conditions & Payment

We will send you an invoice to confirm your booking. We ask for one third of the holiday cost to be paid as a deposit on booking. The balance is to be paid 3 months prior to arrival or the full amount if booking within that date. A reminder invoice will be sent. We will send you the booking terms and conditions with the first invoice. The contract for your holiday is made when you have paid the deposit.

It is your responsibility to book your flights to coincide with your arrival and departure dates.

All bookings are made on the condition the full amount of the cost of your holiday is due 3 months before the first date of occupation of the properties and is not refundable in the event of cancellation for any reason.

We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover you for this and other accidents or loss.

Directions and house details will be sent a minimum of 2 weeks prior to departure.

Damage Deposits

We ask for a damage deposit. It is a condition of booking that any damage be reported to our local agent; Carine, immediately and that you pay the cost locally of repairing any damage or replacing any broken items. Damage deposits are taken on a separate cheque which is not cashed unless there is damage which has not been put right by the end of the holiday. We reserve the right to charge you for any cost of damage in excess of the deposit. If there is none the cheques will either be torn up or returned to you as you prefer.
